SNAP. is a blog and magazine focused on featuring the figures that influence and represent the life of NOVA and D.C. From artists to musicians to local businesses, anything and everything that is artistic, fun and local is accepted in this magazine.
All writings and photo essays should show a side of Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia that isn't normally seen or talked about. Is there a cool restaurant people should know about, but don't? Is there an awesome local band that others should be listening to? Influence the public to get excited about their community!
Every submission must include the following information:
- A title
- Your name
- A short one- to three-sentence bio of yourself
- A headshot of yourself to be placed next to the bio
- Writings must include a minimum of 600 words
- Photo essays must include a minimum of 100 words and five high-res photographs
Absolutely no pre-published submissions will be accepted. There is no compensation for submissions.
